About HEIC
Safari on iPhone and Mac opens HEIC natively. Chrome on Windows does not; when you pick photos on an iPhone, the system usually hands over JPG automatically.

Right in your browser. The document is not uploaded to MediaTut servers — you can verify this in the Network tab of developer tools.
